Cy-Fair FCU Honors a Deserving Teacher with a New Car
HOUSTON, TEXAS, MARCH 11, 2024 - Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union (Cy-Fair FCU) is delighted to announce that Marc Hofrichter from Frazier Elementary is the winner of this year’s Cy-Fair FCU new car giveaway. On the evening of May 7th, as the Cy-Fair Education Foundation (CFEF) Salute to the Stars gala drew to a close, Cy-Fair FCU presented Marc with the keys to a brand-new vehicle from Parkway Chevrolet, with the Credit Union generously covering the three-year lease.
“Marc brings fun and excitement to the classroom and helps students make connections to life through the arts. His passion is contagious,” Frazier Elementary School’s Principal, Michael Pagano, expressed in a written statement. “We are very proud that Marc Hofrichter is part of our Frazier family and our Teacher of the Year!”
CFEF’s Salute to the Stars gala, underwritten by Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union, is an annual celebration that honors outstanding teachers, para-educators, and support staff within the Cy-Fair Independent School District. CFISD administrators carefully selected over 90 "Honorees" who demonstrate exceptional commitment to students and remarkable contributions. All honorees are entered into a grand finale drawing for a chance to win Cy-Fair FCU’s New Car Giveaway.

In addition to honoring Cy-Fair Independent School District employees as the underwriter of the annual CFEF Salute to the Stars gala, in the past ten (10) years Cy-Fair FCU has invested over $1.6 million in direct financial contributions to CFISD, over $253,000 in Scholarships to 228 graduating seniors, and over $120,000 to school booster clubs through its School Spirit Debit Card program.
