Please review details below about this scholarship before proceeding.

    ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP:

The Kimberly A. Dickey Memorial Scholarship commemorates the life of a beloved mother, wife and friend that ended too soon.

The wife of Cy-Fair FCU President/CEO, Cameron Dickey, Kimberly was an ardent supporter of the credit union and frequently accompanied her husband to community events, fundraisers for local non-profits, and activities supporting local schools and businesses. Mrs. Dickey was a 20-year at-home parent to their four children, McKenna, Cassidy, Ella, and Dillon.

The Kimberly A. Dickey Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who plans to attend college for a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree, a Bachelors in a Healthcare field of study or a college certificate program in Healthcare.

Mrs. Dickey was an accomplished artist and was renowned by friends and family for her many creative projects including canvas paintings, beautiful sewing projects, hand painted pottery, custom furniture finishing, and meticulously detailed nail art that drew “ooos” and “aah’s“ everywhere she went. As a young college student in the early 90’s, her career aspirations included working in a fine art museum or gallery restoring old paintings. Those interests were sustained throughout her life in countless artistic endeavors and refurbishment projects that she accomplished with beautiful results.

Following her breast cancer diagnosis in 2013, Mrs. Dickey was the beneficiary of many kind, accomplished, and knowledgeable doctors, nurses, lab and imaging techs, surgeons, and medical office staff. Her family believes she would be deeply honored by this scholarship bearing her name which may assist future healthcare professionals who want to competently and compassionately help others the way she was helped.

The winner of this scholarship will be selected by the Dickey Family and Mrs. Dickey’s mother, Diana Bauer.

If you know a graduating high school senior in Harris County or Waller County that would be a good match for the Kimberly A. Dickey Memorial Scholarship, please share the information above with them.

    Sincerely, The Dickey Family
