Candidates for Board of Directors
The Board Nominating Committee hereby nominates the following candidates for election to the Board of Directors.

Gale Parker
As a long-time educator, Gale Parker went from parent to principal of Lamkin Elementary School, serving 34 years before she retired from CFISD in 2022. Gale is an active member of the Cy-Fair Community and joined Cy-Fair FCU over 30 years ago. She has served on the credit union’s Board of Directors for the past 10 years and prior to that, she served on CFFCU’s Supervisory Committee for two years.

In addition to serving on Cy-Fair FCU’s Board of Directors, Gale is actively involved with Reach Unlimited, a Cypress-area non-profit that provides support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is a past Board Chair and has served in nearly every governance role with Reach since 2002. Gale and her husband are also members of Cypress Methodist Church and have served in multiple leadership roles there, including the Board of Stewards and the Wee Wuns Preschool Board.

Gale and her husband have been married for over 50 years and she is the proud mother of two daughters and grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren.

Reagan Pugh
Reagan Pugh has worked in and with credit unions for over 20 years and is a long-time credit union member. Her financial services background began initially in banking, but soon transitioned to not-for-profit credit unions starting in 2000. Reagan attributes credit unions for changing her perspective of the financial services industry. Reagan started as a Financial Service Representative, later moving into several management roles, including Assistant Vice President and Vice President of Operations + Recruiting. Today, Ms. Pugh serves as an Executive Search Recruiter for the Cornerstone League, aiding credit unions across multiple states in identifying and acquiring highly qualified senior leadership candidates for their openings.

Reagan is a self-described “giver” who loves volunteering and making an impact within her community. She resides in Cy-Fair where her daughter attended school and played sports before graduating. As a parent of a child in the district, Reagan was active in supporting a variety of activities within CFISD including mentoring and coaching sports. Ms. Pugh has also been an organizer for the Chevron/Aramco Marathon, coach for the Texas Tornados volleyball team, and staff developer.

Reagan has served on Cy-Fair FCU’s Board of Directors since 2023 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Management from the University of Phoenix.

Additional Nominations can be made by Petition
With these nominations, the Board Nominating Committee has concluded its work for this year. Eligible member signatures must be from CFFCU members who are at least 18 years of age and are primary owners of a membership share with CFFCU. The necessary petition forms can be picked up at Cy-Fair FCU’s corporate office located at 9601 Jones Rd, Suite 200, Houston, Texas 77065. Completed petitions with the requisite signatures must be returned by 5:00 pm on February 10, 2025. If you have any questions about this process or the forms, you may email us at boardelections@cyfairfcu.org.

To Volunteer or Be Considered for Future Nominations
If you would like to be considered for the next year's elections or other volunteer opportunities, we would still like to hear from you. While it is infrequent, there are occasions where an opening on the Board of Directors occurs between annual elections and the nominating committee will review possible candidates on file for appointment until the next annual election. Also, there are a variety of volunteer committees that contribute to the success and leadership of Cy-Fair FCU (including our Supervisory Committee, Community Advisory Committee, and periodic community focus groups).

If you are interested in using your skills to support your credit union as a volunteer, simply request an application packet by emailing boardelections@cyfairfcu.org, then complete the application and email it with your resume back to boardelections@cyfairfcu.org. Prospective nominees must be a member of Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union, at least 18 years old, and return the completed volunteer application to the Nominating Committee. The nominating committee will collect applications for the next year's (2026) board nominations until late November 2025.

If you have any questions about this process or the forms, you may email the Nominating Committee at boardelections@cyfairfcu.org.
