Protect Yourself from Fraud

We want to remind you to stay vigilant against fraudulent phone calls and emails claiming to be from the credit union. Scammers are becoming increasingly sophisticated in their tactics, including the ability to spoof phone numbers on your caller ID to reflect your institution's number, as well as email addresses.

Here are a few common strategies fraudsters may use:

  • Claiming your account has been compromised

  • Urgently requesting personal or login information to “verify your identity”

  • Pressuring you to act immediately or face account suspension

  • Using the names of employees or executives from your financial institution to build trust

Important Reminders:

  • We will never call or email you asking for your login credentials or other sensitive information. If you receive such a request, it is a scam.

  • Hang up & call us directly using the phone number on our official website if you receive a suspicious call or email.

  • If they appear to have access to your transaction history, notify us immediately, and you may also need to check your personal devices for potential malware that can monitor and screen capture your device’s activity.

Your security is our priority. If you believe you have been targeted by a scam, report it to us immediately. Stay informed, stay alert, and never share your personal information if someone contacts you asking for it.
