AWARD-WINNING CY-FAIR FCU
In 2021 Cy-Fair FCU celebrated our 65th Anniversary, and while this is an amazing milestone for the credit union, this wasn’t the only accomplishment to celebrate.
Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union was also the recipient of multiple awards recognizing the credit union’s dedication to innovation and support of our communities.
2021 Accolades Include:
Distinguished Service Award (from the World Council of Credit Unions)
The World Council of Credit Unions recognized Cy-Fair FCU’s President & CEO, Cameron Dickey, with the prestigious “Distinguish Service Award” - the industry's top global honor. This distinction was a result of commitment to initiatives that drive worldwide financial inclusion and provide support for projects in developing countries. Some of Mr. Dickey’s contributions include helping to create not-for-profit financial cooperatives in Cuba, improving conditions at the Busia Compassionate Children’s Home in Kenya, mentoring credit union leaders in other countries, as well as establishing fundraisers and donation programs to address global needs.
2021 Large Business of the Year (from the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce)
CFFCU received the coveted “2021 Large Business of the Year” award from the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce following the six-year waiting period after winning the award in 2015. The selection committee recognized the credit union for our dedication to innovation, quality service and community support.
Best Financial Institution in Cy-Fair (a Living Magazine Readers’ Choice award)
Two years in a row, the readers of Living Magazine have voted Cy-Fair FCU as the Readers’ Choice for “Best Financial Institution in Cy-Fair”. Those who vote select their choices based on which organizations they perceive to be the best in regard to the level of personal service provided, the relevance of products/services offered, support of their community, and other similar factors.
Featured Cover Story (Living Magazine September 2021 Edition)
Cy-Fair FCU was featured as the Cover Story in Living Magazine’s September edition. The article highlighted the Credit Union’s roots in the Cy-Fair community, with a focus on our growth and transformation over the years. The article also recognized some of the award recognitions this credit union has received as a result of our vision to write good into the life stories of those around us.
Pinnacle Awards (from the Cornerstone League)
The Cornerstone League, an important credit union development and advocacy group, awarded Cy-Fair FCU with multiple Pinnacle Marketing Awards in 2021. The Pinnacle Awards honor credit unions for their innovation and efforts to further the credit union message and movement within our communities. This brings Cy-Fair FCU to a total of eleven (11) first place Pinnacle awards in less than five years.
Stand Up for Public Schools (from TASB & Tomball ISD)
The Texas Association of School Boards and Tomball ISD recognized Cy-Fair FCU with a “Stand Up For Texas Public Schools” award. This was an expression of gratitude for the generous support the credit union provides Texas public schools and students in our communities.
